Water Creative is a dynamic creative agency and production powerhouse. We create campaigns, activations, product design and run content and social media strategies for brands and artists including Pretty Little Thing, Bodaskins, Spotify, Giggs, Jay 1 and more. 

We are searching for an experienced and innovative Creative Social Media Manager to join a fast-paced Creative Agency based in Salford, Manchester City Centre. You will have a burning passion to drive results and be fully focused on visuals, performance, analytics and learnings. You will report in to our Brand Director and work alongside our Influencer Marketing Manager. 

This role is designed for someone to take complete ownership of the social media role, championing social-driven business for our brands. It’s an ideal position in an ever-changing industry with opportunity for the candidate to grow within a vibrant, ambitious company.


Our ideal candidate: 

  • You will ideally have agency experience, but this is not essential

  • You will have mid-weight experience, 3-5 years in a similar role in the creative industries (fashion, beauty and lifestyle)

  • You’re an ambitious social media manager, organised, capable of working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • You have a keen interest and confidence to manage and build strategies across Social Media Platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Snapchat, Youtube, Pinterest. 

  • You are a strong communicator, both written and verbal. You’re detail orientated and the type of person to point out typos!

  •  You are comfortable being client facing, with strong communication skills to handle day-to-day comms, taking a role in pitching or leading reports

  • Extensive knowledge of Instagram and Facebook functionality from a commercial perspective.

  • You have an interest and are aware of new apps, digital trends, social media, and the related internet landscape: brands, fashion, beauty, music, lifestyle.

  • You are confident and can self edit, shoot and create graphics and content to a capacity for social platforms. 

  • Ambitious, driven and self-motivation are essential assets required from this candidate

  • Highly strategic social approach – ability to deliver social media strategies effectively and measure the efficacy of campaigns using insight tools and creating reports

  • Confidence when dealing with senior members of the team, including the Directors of the business. 

  • Confident that you could drive brand engagement and uplift across the social spectrum and advise on best practice (based on previous experience /ongoing competitor analysis etc)

  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and a strong work ethic

  • Team Player with the ability to work across multiple business functions to achieve objectives

  • Past experience working with or alongside paid social media campaigns is preferred.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement and adapt Social Media Strategies across a landscape of different beauty, fashion, lifestyle clients. 

  • Build and manage the multiple brand social media profiles and presence, in line with brand guidelines, working as the brand guardian to maintain digital best practice, overseeing all channels and advising on ways to improve processes / engagement.

  •  Tracking all campaigns and performance you will make recommendations for optimising the social media content and activity, delivering key improvements where necessary.

  • Whilst taking a highly commercial and analytical approach (monitoring and reporting on campaign execution and performance) you will also need to marry this with a highly creative approach getting involved with content for clients.

  • Working closely with other members of the team and across other departments to ensure cohesion through Social Media with the wider campaign plans.

  • Manage brand channels across a variety of platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest. You must be confident to set up new initiatives and social channels. 

  • Create shareable content and graphics appropriate for specific networks to spread brand content and links.

  • You will lead content and engagement  ideas including pitches to clients for their social media presence, promotions, shoots, influencer content etc.

  • Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success.

  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from social network presence to client websites and relevant sources.

  • Contributing to company-wide meetings, idea  sessions and catch-ups.

  • Briefing & managing internal and external team members to fulfil your social media plans.

Salary: £24,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
